PA 6

APTA works with Radici's polyamide 6 lines, which have various specifications and can be adapted according to customer needs.

PA6, or nylon 6, is a polymer developed by Paul Schlack at IG Farben to reproduce the properties of PA 66 without violating the patent for its production on January 29, 1938.

It exhibits properties such as high tensile and impact strength, high toughness, and ease of elongation.

It can be molded by various processes, and among the main applications of PA6 are: general technical parts, fishing lines, 3D printing, toothbrush bristles, connections and pipes, parachute cords, casters (wheels), footwear articles, textile fibers, among others.
